LSU jumps three spots after an impressive win over a ranked team. Alabama also had an impressive win over a ranked team, which is why we are sane and didn't jump LSU to No. 1 or No. 2.
Clemson jumped eight spots to No. 14, while Illinois and Houston join the rankings.

Very few changes up top with just Florida State dropping five spots after a tough loss to top-ranked Oklahoma.
The story is the three newly ranked teams as Clemson, Michigan and Georgia Tech all crack the top 25. There are several other 3-0 teams on cusp.

Penn State, Texas and Arizona State join as USC, Auburn and Georgia drop out.
Baylor has the biggest jump, moving up eight spots, while Virginia Tech jumps up three spots, into the top ten.
Boise State moves up two spots up to No. 3, as does Nebraska, jumping to No. 8.
